The Detail of Available Land :
Phaltan Education Society possesses an area of 101.16 ha out of which 84.93 ha area under cultivation with canal and well Irrigation facilities & 16.23 ha area under Uncultivable. Some area of fallow land is occupied by various types of buildings, playground, meteorological observatory etc. The soil of the farm can be divided into three categories depending upon its depth i.e. shallow, medium and deep. Out of the total cultivable land about 60 % falls under medium to deep black soils. Remaining 40 % area is of course textured. All the land held by Phaltan Education Society is in the vicinity of 8 km around college building.
